what our students say
In my opinion, the courses and practice work in Skoltech are intensive that allow students to develop their skills in many aspects. For example, in my case, I am able to improve my research skills a lot during the five months of being here as there are many people in the lab (e.g., postdocs, PhD and Master students) who are willing to discuss and give advice, plus the laboratory is opened 24/7. So, the working time is flexible. I can manage to work and find a work-life balance here as well. The interdisciplinary studies provide me an opportunity to take courses in different fields not only in Material Sciences but also in Advanced Manufacturing and Technology, Photonic and Quantum Materials, and business-related courses. All in all, the various fields of knowledge can be potentially expanded and developed while I am studying at Skoltech."
