He is a PhD graduate of Princeton University. After, he headed the Sector of Molecular Evolution at the Kharkevitch Institute for Information Transmission Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Professor Mikhail Lebedev is a neurophysiologist, developer of brain-machine interfaces, author of more than100 papers, and editor of journals and books. Senior Research Scientist at Duke University Medical Center and Scientific Head and Chief Research Scientist at the Center for Bioelectric Interfaces in the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience from National Research University HSE. He earned his Master's degree in biophysics from MIPT and PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Tennessee, postdocs at SISSA in Trieste, and National Institute of Mental Health.

Professor and Head of Digital Agriculture Laboratory Laurent Gentzbittel develops research that includes whole-genome approaches to efficient integration of high-throughput genotyping and phenotyping into breeding processes and identification of genes based on traits with agronomic and domestication importance. He received the Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology in and got his PhD degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Lyon I. Then worked for 7 years in a biotech company to develop and implement genetic techniques and molecular methods in sunflower.
