On March 27 at 4:30 p.m. (GMT +3, MSK) we will hold the Open Doors in Petroleum Engineering. Skoltech professors will provide detailed information about the program and its main research areas: thermal conductivity and rock properties, petroleum data science, geology and geomodelling, lithology, flow assurance, gas hydrates and permafrost, geomechanics, molecular simulations and machine learning for EOR. Additionally, representatives of the Admissions team will help you understand the selection process and tell you how to prepare all the admissions documents.
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to take a tour around campus and visit our modern laboratories. This is a great chance to experience first-hand the scientific and educational atmosphere of our institute, talk to professors and students, and get answers to any questions you may have.

The program prepares a new generation of scientists and engineers capable of dealing with the key challenges of the oil and gas sector, and creating innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery from the existing sources and development of unconventional and hard-to-recover reserves. The educational process contains high-level engineering training, development of mathematical modeling and data analysis skills, and gaining field experience through research and industry projects.

By public transport:
Take the MCD-1 to Skolkovo station. Exit through the Orbion shopping center, following the signs to the Skolkovo Innovation Center. On the street near the station exit, switch to the Sk1 bus (the display should indicate towards TMK). Ride to the Matrex stop

Skoltech is located on the territory of Skolkovo, there are entrances from Skolkovskoje and Minsk/Mozhaiskoe highway. There are paid rates on the territory: parking from 51 minutes — 250 rubles/hour for all categories. You can park inside Skolkovo at intercept parking lots and along Bolshoy Boulevard.
There is free parking outside Skolkovo near Skoltech.The nearest parking to Skoltech is at the Tri Kita shopping center.
