On April 10 at 4:00 p.m. (GMT +3, MSK) we will hold an Open Doors in Computational Science & Engineering. Skoltech professors will talk about our programs focused on the development and implementation of computing tools, mathematical modeling, the creation of digital engineering products, and machine learning. Additionally, representatives of the admissions committee will help you understand the selection process and tell you how to prepare all the documents.

During the evening, we will talk about the following programs:

Master's degree: Data Science, Advanced Computational Science, Applied Computational Mechanics, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (Simulation based Engineering Sciences track), Materials Science, Engineering Systems, Internet of Things and Wireless Technologies.
PhD: Computational and Data Science and Engineering, Mathematics and Mechanics, Engineering Systems, Materials Science and Engineering, AgroBioTechnologies and Engineering

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to take a tour around campus and visit our modern laboratories. This is a great chance to experience first-hand the scientific and educational atmosphere of our institute, talk to professors and students, and get answers to any questions you may have.

Registration is required.
Please note that the event will be held only in offline format. There will be no recording or live broadcast.

Data scientists are already among the most demanded specialists in the hi-tech market. The goal of this program is to equip the most talented young scientists with high-level knowledge and experience in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, industrial data analytics, natural language processing, mathematical modelling, and other important areas of modern data science.
Modern science and engineering critically rely on efficient and fast computational techniques and models. ACS program achieves the synergy of state-of-the-art mathematical modeling methods (numerical ODE and PDE, stochastic modeling, machine learning and Big data-based approaches) and their implementation with modern high performance parallel computational facilities furnished with up-to-date software.
The program is aimed to develop the shortest path from fundamentals in mechanics and physics to industrial applications with a particular focus on materials and novel technologies. It prepares the next generation of researchers, engineers, and practitioners to assume the role of technical leadership in research and innovation. Students learn the scientific fundamentals and state-of-the-art technologies in the areas of advanced composite materials, additive manufacturing, and thermal spray coatings. Our graduates design and test materials, and apply them in large-scale industries.
Mechanics is at the heart of many technological processes in the energy sector, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, defense, transportation, and other sectors. Computational modeling plays a key role in the development of state-of-the art technologies in these areas. The program offers a modern curriculum with classes on the modeling of mechanics of fluids and solids, analysis of multiphase and reacting flows, and computational science and engineering. Graduates will become leaders in research and development of modern computational tools required by high-tech industries.
Program specialized on teaching framework of IoT paradigm and Next Generation Wireless Technologies (5G, 6G), using latest facilities for research including 5G Skolkovo test zone.
Modern industry is in great need of professionals in materials science, ready to develop new materials and devices for application in renewable energy, consumer electronics, healthcare, and other areas. Our practical approach gives our graduates the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills for success in electronics, energy, chemicals, automotive industry, and other sectors.
The program focuses on developing the Engineering Systems students' critical skills, understanding, and mastery to lead and shape up the digital transformation of industries and the development of cyber-physical systems, aerospace, and high technology industrial products in all fields on Earth and in Space. The program's main objective is to educate students with the competencies and digital know-how that will enable them to support and play leading roles in the real-life implementation of digital engineering, robotics, space technologies, and science. We teach students to find creative and sustainable solutions to the critical challenges that a wide range of industries including but not limited to aerospace, energy, and robotics.
