Skoltech is located just outside of Moscow on the grounds of Skolkovo Innovation Centre. You can easily reach our campus via train (15 minutes from downtown Moscow) or buses from the nearest subway stations.

Skoltech has official accreditation and each program is licensed to issue diplomas. Skoltech graduates receive two types of diplomas: a government-issued one (confirming the training they received and graduate-level qualification) and an official Skoltech diploma (Master of Science degree) with a European format (diploma supplement).

Applicants who successfully pass the admissions process and current Skoltech students do not pay tuition. Skoltech fully covers all the costs.

- Resume or CV (in English)
- Copy of your diploma or a note from your university confirming you are in your final year of studies
- Motivation letter
- Two letters of recommendations
- Optional: your achievements, additional certifications, etc.

Yes, of course!

Skoltech is a technological university, so students receive minimal training in social subjects. That said, Skoltech admissions committee does not evaluate applicants based on their formal training (if you received your bachelor's degree in social sciences, for instance) - it only matters if you actually know the subjects required by the program.

No, Skoltech curriculum is in-person and full time only. Masters programs are 2 years long.

If you wish to visit Skoltech, then follow our calendar of events and participate in them. We also host several Open Doors days a year where you can see the classrooms and visit laboratories which are usually closed to visitors.
